Went to see Ryan Adams and the cardinals this weekend. Also had some
if Ashlee's relatives come down to help us move into our new place.
When we were moving Ashlee and I got into a little fight (nobody was
wrong, as we were just openly and honestly communicating our
expectations, but in a more tradeional sense, I may have been wrong),
and in retaliation Ashlee dropped ct's cage on the floor. Do you think
it's a good idea to try and murder a disabled hamster? Apparently
redheads do!

Long time no blog
I realize that we have not been good about updating the blog recently. Well, other than Casey's random posts of dead squirrels :). We had a fun Christmas in Illinois with the Ehorns and even made it up to Wisconsin to the Great Wolf Lodge for a weekend. We spent two days playing in an indoor water park while it was snowing outside! It was really fun. After the first of the year, we decided to start looking at houses to take advantage of the low interest rates. After what at times was a stressful buying experience I am happy to say that today we became the owners of a town home in Birmingham! We are going to take our time moving in over the next month as we move our stuff over to the new place. For those of you who are familiar our house is about 5 miles from the Summit right by Liberty Park, but not technically in Vestavia.
I (Ashlee) will also be starting a new job next week at a local law firm as an admin assistant. I am excited about this opportunity and getting back to work in an office setting. Well that's about it for now, but I am going to make a point to use the blog more this spring.

Christmas In the Windy City
Ashlee and I spent this Christmas in Chicago. We also spent a few days
in the Wisconsin Dells. Below Ashlee and Sara (Ashlee's roommate from
Seattle) are in front of the grand Christmas tree at the Walnut Room
in Chicago. It's becoming a tradition to meet there for the holidays.
Shorty after this picture Ashlee told me something I thought I would
never hear her say: "I'm all shopped out!"
